The poet, Shakeeb Jahshan, attempts for the first time in this book to write poems for children, and about children, and he was inspired to do this by his first grandchild.
These poems are written through the eyes of a child; little stories he tells us about his young explorer, his family, his toys, his friends, and his belongings.
The illustrator, Sharif Waked, was able to give the poems a lively illustration which makes the poems more accessible to children.
